Eating out

We planned to list here places to eat which we think offer good English food and snacks at sensible prices. So much for good intentions.

Soon after we drafted this page the Dog at Baughton closed, and currently The Jocky which lies on the same road is closed for refurbishment. Nearer home the Plough and Harrow closed a month or so ago, but we anticipate it may soon reopen.

There are many coffee shops and tea rooms in Malvern to choose from including cafes in Marks and Spencers, Morrisons and Waitrose.  The Lyttleton Well in Great Malvern is excellent for tea and cakes, or you can sit on a sofa at Cafe Nero opposite.

If you want a pub lunch, the Green Dragon on the Guarlford Road can be recommended, or for the more adventurous the Nags Head at Link top is worth a visit.

Traditional food can be had at the White Lion in Upton upon Severn. In fact there are many places to eat. Let us know if there are places you can recommend.
